Books for Less

If you're looking for a good source of secondhand hardcover books, Books for Less has branches on Valero St. (across the post office, near Shell House) and on the first floor of Greenbelt Garden Square (beside Haagen-Dazs, where Flavors and Spices used to be).

Sentro Flamenco on Kalayaan Avenue in Makati (near Rockwell) offers classes in Capoeira, a Brazilian dance / martial art form - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Beginners classes run from 7 pm to 8 pm, with advanced classes starting right afterwards. Classes are P250 per session, or P2,400 for 12 sessions if you pay in advance.
